Parkinson Lund bildades år 2002 i samarbete med Neuroförbundet och Studieförbundet Vuxenskolan Lunds senaste professor öppnar upp för ny behandling av Parkinsons Publicerad 15 juni 2015 I höstas kunde forskare vid Lunds universitet visa att det går att tillverka dopaminceller från stamceller som fungerar lika bra som de nervceller som finns i människans egen hjärna.

Det är Parkinsonförbundets forskningsfond som valt att göra en strategisk satsning på ett kliniskt forskningscentrum för Parkinsons sjukdom i Lund.
